I just want to say on behalf of Nigel and myself that the weekend was brilliant! The whole set up was so nicely done and very relaxing. There was an awful lot to take in which made it quite tiring but I wouldn't have had it any other way. It is nice to get all of the info in one go!
I am not sure why but I felt very emotional after it all on the Sunday. Probably a mixture of nerves and excitement and the big realisation that I have not simply eaten too many pies but I am actually going to go through everything that we learnt about!
The whole team were incredible and I only wish Justine was my midwife! Her attitude towards childbirth was so positive that it made me feel I can cope with anything. I am a big wimp and am so hoping for a natural birth and she made me feel empowered to do it. I have taken so much of her advice on board and hope I don't forget it all on the day.
Who knew breastfeeing could be so funny! I don't think I have laughed so much in a very long time....more work required on pelvic floor muscles most definately!
I must say that most noticeably the course helped Nigel to feel so much more involved. He works in Manchester all week and is starting to feel a bit helpless that he cannot be a bigger support but he came away feeling so much better about his part in things. Thank you for this. It has really helped us.
I will certainly recommend the course to anyone I know that is expecting and I meet a lot of women who are because I own a wedding dress shop and the girls tend to come back and see us not too long after they have got married!
Thank you thank you thank you all once again. It was worth every penny and so much more.
