When should I book my class from?
I would suggest you book your class from around 18 weeks of pregnancy as courses get full very quickly. However you course start date should be from around 32 to 35 weeks, as it is at this time that a women's mind begins to focus towards labour and birth. However, if you know your babies come early or you want to start earlier that's fine. We are happy to have a chat if you are unsure.
I cannot attend a course on the set days what can I do?
Give Justine a ring on 07812240775 and we can discuss running a course on another day if there is a group of people that this would also suit. Also if you have to miss a session,we will probably be able to book you onto the same session with another group.
I'm coming straight from work will there be refreshments at the session?
Yes there will be a constant flow of tea, juice and biscuits. Bring some sandwiches along if you want.
Do you cover alternative therapies in your sessions?
Yes, to a certain extent as far as our knowledge goes, but if the group wants it I can arrange an evening where different practioners can come in and lead a session.
I had a previous caesarean section and am now pregnant again and am hoping for a vaginal delivery, do you cover VBAC in your sessions?
We have many women who are second time mums and have often had previous sections so VBAC is touched on.
Will the course be lead by the same teachers?
Yes, Justine sessions 1, 2 and3, Ella breastfeeding and Tania for postnatal session.
What happens if I have my baby early, but have paid for the course?
Most first time mums have their babys at 40 weeks plus 9 days on average. Therefore it is very unlikely this occur. If the baby arrives during the course you are more than welcome to bring the baby to the breast feeding and post natal session which can be extremily helpful at that time. If the baby arrives before the course then we wil refund 75% of the course fee.
